I had nose surgery this March, and because of complications I’m waiting to have everything removed and then get a revision surgery 6 months later. Last month I had my first consultation with Professor Choi Jong-woo at Asan Medical Center, got a CT scan, and I’m waiting for the follow-up visit. Is there anyone who has had nose surgery with Professor Choi Jong-woo? I can find posts asking for reviews, but they’re all hidden behind private comments so I can’t read them At the first visit, I brought the surgical record from the hospital where I had my first surgery, pre-op photos, and the pre-op CT, but maybe because the appointment was short, he didn’t seem to look at them very closely. When I said I came because of complications from the first surgery and because I needed revision surgery, he just touched my nose once, said let’s do a CT scan once, and that was it. There were a lot of patients waiting, so it felt hard to ask things comfortably. I heard that with Professor Jang Yong-ju at Asan Medical Center, the surgery wait alone is 1 year. Would I have to wait about a year for Professor Choi Jong-woo too? When I casually asked the nurse outside the consultation room whether surgery might be possible within this year, she said she didn’t really know because the schedule changes.
