Nose Re-Surgery

Nostrils getting sucked in when breathing., external nasal valve stenosis?

When I inhale, the alar base gets pulled inward so the nasal mucosa sticks together. This side effect started after surgery, and I was told it was probably caused by the nose being too high. But at one place they said it was external nasal valve stenosis, and that because the alar cartilage is being pulled up and there is no cartilage now supporting the nostril area, it’s floppy and gets sucked into the nose, so I’d need alar cartilage grafting... At another place they said just removing it should be fine... I had a CT scan and only the tip area was about 7 mm thick.

Sigh... Are there people who had the nose removed and could breathe more comfortably? Or did anyone really even have alar cartilage grafting? It’s hard to find much by searching, so it doesn’t seem like something people do often. There’s no pinched nose or anything I never had this problem before, and they pulled my nose outward like Pinocchio, so my original nose was a bulbous nose, but now it feels like there’s almost no alar base at all, more like a straight 11-shaped nose...
