Review after incisional double eyelid surgery (6 months later + recovery notes)

I’m leaving this review as big data for people who are looking into incisional double eyelid surgery. My eyes = thick skin, weak eye-opening muscles, lots of eye fat, narrow eyes.. So I ended up getting incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + fat removal + both front and upper canthoplasty all together. The surgery was done at Ideal, and my criteria for choosing a hospital was that it had to be famous for revision surgery and good at difficult procedures. I figured that if a place is good at difficult surgery, it’ll also do first surgeries well in a precise and polished way.. The consultation was also good..But after the surgery, at first I almost got mentally wrecked because of the swelling As you can see from the photos, there was quite a lot of swelling and bruising, but patience is medicine, so while getting the aftercare the hospital provided, I gritted my teeth and tried to just observe and learn. By my own feeling, from around the 1-month mark the heaviness when opening my eyes decreased.. It seemed to become more natural little by little. At 3 months I thought it was fine too, but comparing it to the 6-month mark, there was still some swelling back then Right now I love the line so much. Thinking about it, I did all sorts of things and still expected to be fine, which was peak delusion.. Anyway, people with eyes similar to mine should seriously think carefully about incisional surgery too. Rather than chasing non-incisional surgery and having it loosen later and needing revision, getting the surgery that suits you from the start is a hundred times better. The pain from incisional surgery = not painful; what was uncomfortable was more the pulling sensation than actual pain, plus I had a lot of eye discharge. Other than that, it was fine, and I just thought, well, I had double eyelid surgery, so it can’t be helped In conclusion, I’m super satisfied with the surgery^^!
