I went to get under-eye fat grafting because the fat under my eyes had come forward and my dark circles were really severe. During the consultation, the director said that if they only filled the under-eye area on its own, the midface could look flat and a bit awkward, so they recommended front cheek fat grafting as well. They said front cheek fat grafting gives natural volume to a hollow midface, adds dimension, and smoothly connects the line from under the eyes to the cheeks. Since I was already going to lie down on the operating table anyway, I decided after a lot of thought to do it together, and wow, after the front cheek fat grafting, my under-eye area became like a completely different person. As the hollow midface filled out, the shadow under my eyes disappeared completely, and my facial contours became much more three-dimensional. With the front cheek volume supporting everything, the synergy made my impression look much brighter, younger, and more lively. After the surgery, people kept saying I looked so bright and youthful. If you’re worried about hollow under-eyes, don’t do it alone; since you’re doing it anyway, definitely consider front cheek fat grafting too.
