1 year after surgery

It’s already been a year since my double jaw surgery! Before the surgery, I was really stressed about my facial shape and asymmetry, and I was also very worried about the surgery itself, but looking back now, I think I made the right decision. Right after surgery, there was a lot of swelling and eating was uncomfortable, so there was a difficult period. But as time passed, the swelling went down and I could see it gradually becoming more natural, which felt amazing. Especially after 6 months, most of the major swelling had gone down and my face felt much more settled, and now I can go about my daily life so comfortably that I almost forget I had surgery. Compared with before surgery, my facial shape has become much more natural and my overall impression has changed a lot, so I’m happy with it. I also worry much less about my face shape when taking photos than I used to, and I feel like I’ve gained confidence too. I worried a lot before surgery, but now, a year later, I’m satisfied and doing well! 😊
