I had dimple surgery, and even after more than 2 years it was still too obvious, so I looked for a clinic to remove it and had the surgery. There were many reviews saying that after dimple removal the scar tissue rises up, so I worried for months, but because the dimples were causing me so much stress, I just had them removed. Luckily, they were removed cleanly without any scar tissue. I had dimple surgery on both sides, and only the one that was noticeable was removed, but I want the other side gone too...
