I went for a consultation about a face and neck lift because I was worried that as my mother got older, she was spending less and less time looking in the mirror and avoiding having her photo taken. I expected that a non-surgical option would not be enough, but as soon as the doctor saw her, they bluntly said that if they only pulled it with threads, it would not last even a year and would just leave the skin bumpy. Rather than pulling only the outer skin, they said the inner fascia layer also has to be properly lifted for the sagging around the mouth and the neck wrinkles to be fundamentally resolved
