I had surgery with autologous costal cartilage and no implant, and recovery was fast and I love it. I am very satisfied. I barely got any bruising. I had a deviated septum too, and they fixed that as well, so breathing is really comfortable. It has been a little over a month, and I have almost no discomfort. If you want a surgery direction that preserves the hump and does not require osteotomy, I think this would suit you well.
