For my first nose surgery, I had silicone + ear cartilage, and after two or three years it sagged, so I went in for a revision. I went thinking of donor rib cartilage + silicone, but learned it would be Gore-Tex instead of silicone. I was worried about Gore-Tex, so I asked the director, and he explained with examples that according to papers and so on, I didn't need to worry about side effects. I had been stressed because the shape of my nose had changed due to the silicone, so he recommended fixing it in a way that would hold the shape with Gore-Tex. In the end I was satisfied; it lifted naturally and elegantly. It was made to look like the original look was pretty.
