Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> I had wanted to get nose surgery for about 10 years and went to many consultations, but the timing never worked out, so I kept putting it off. I kept thinking about my nose and wanting to do it, so I finally made up my mind and looked into nose surgery before taking off my mask!
I live outside Seoul, so I looked into local clinics too, but for my nose I really wanted to have it done in Seoul, so I went to Seoul for consultations every time I had a day off.
Glovi was one of the 10 places where I had consultations! Since my health is not good, I prioritized safety above all else. Some clinics focused only on the design, and some clinics seemed to think only about safety.
But during the consultation, Director Noh Bong-il seemed to care about safety while also not neglecting the aesthetic aspects, and he explained various cases, so he felt trustworthy!
I wanted to minimize the chance of side effects as much as possible, so I invested more money and had surgery with Fit Me Nose. Since my nose was very small, I had a 2 mm nasal bridge implant, osteotomy, hump refinement, and ear cartilage plus septal cartilage used for the nasal tip.
He said he would decide during surgery whether or not to use donated costal cartilage, but thankfully, the surgery was completed without using donated costal cartilage! I had felt burdened by the idea of using donated costal cartilage for my first surgery, so I was relieved.
I took 7 days of vacation and had to go back to work right away, and because of my job, I meet a lot of people. I did not even need to worry about what I would do if the bruising from the osteotomy did not go down enough after my vacation or if the swelling was too severe for me to work!
Maybe I am the type who does not swell much, but after surgery I barely did any warm compresses and did not even touch pumpkin juice! I only took the medicine from the clinic and some powder sold at the pharmacy that is like herbal medicine for reducing swelling? I took 3 packets a day for 5 days and that was it, but I had almost no bruising and not much swelling either~
I had been worried because there were many reviews saying the nasal packing made it hard to breathe on day 1, but Director Noh left enough space in the nasal packing so I could breathe, so it was less uncomfortable!
Also, other people said their ears hurt and that it hurt a lot when the stitches were removed, but strangely, my ear did not hurt at all. Unlike other clinics, I did not apply ointment, but there was no pain at all when the stitches were removed! Some places put something in the ear because they worry about ear deformity, but here there was no ointment or ear mold? or anything like that at all, and I just kept it covered simply with gauze for a week. That must mean the doctor is that skilled, right? hehe
It is now week 3, so it feels almost natural. I do feel a little greedy and think I could have made it a bit higher, but with any cosmetic surgery, satisfaction is never 100%, and if I had been greedier, the chance of side effects would have gone up, so I am going to be satisfied with this!
I am waiting for the remaining minor swelling to gradually go down more and for sensation in my nasal tip to return hehe
I am glad I had it done at Glovi, where the facilities are very good, and lastly, I also highly recommend Manager Park Yeon-i, who took such careful care of me at every visit! ❤️
Oh, for those coming from outside Seoul, they also help arrange a partnered hotel within a 10-minute walk from the clinic, so there was no inconvenience at all.
If someone I know gets nose surgery, I will definitely recommend it~!
