I went with high expectations after reading the hospital introduction post, but I was completely disappointed. They said the director was very kind and explained things in detail, but because surgery was apparently already scheduled, it felt like everything was wrapped up very carelessly in a hurry. I felt like I was being driven out, and I could barely ask a single question before being handed off to the consultation manager after about 5 minutes (at least that is how it felt). I wondered if I had done something wrong. I had made up my mind and traveled a long distance in hardship, so I felt empty and dazed. Right from the moment the hospital door opened, something felt strange.
