Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] community review

The overall atmosphere of the rhinoplasty consultation was too casual, so I could not really trust it. They stated categorically that if I wanted frontal-view improvement, I absolutely had to insert a silicone nasal bridge, while also saying that donor costal cartilage alone would be sufficient and that they did not particularly recommend autologous costal cartilage, so the criteria felt unclear. Above all, before I could even ask questions or express my deliberations, the surgeon repeatedly jumped to conclusions alone, saying things like, “This is the answer, right?” and “That is what it is, right?” Honestly, it was rather irritating. The tone was like the mischievous persona often seen in short videos, with a strong hint of showing off. Rather than taking the consultation seriously, it felt like they were pushing things through with the atmosphere. The explanation of surgery did not feel deeply informative either; it felt as if only confidence was emphasized, so I was not convinced of their expertise. I was left wondering whether an important revision-surgery consultation should be conducted this casually.
