I had surgery with buried sutures before, but they came undone, so I had revision surgery after 3 years. At the time of my previous surgery, I was told that it would absolutely not come undone, so I chose buried sutures, but it came undone much sooner than expected, which made me a little dissatisfied when deciding. Still, I felt that the new surgery turned out very well, and because my eyes already have a slight asymmetry, I thought of it as a trial-and-error process and felt okay about it. Also, since I was already getting my eyes done, I received consultations for several other things as well.
