Even before the surgery, the doctor explained things again and double-checked which areas would be treated and how, so I felt less nervous, and the surgery was done under general anesthesia. It felt like it finished sooner than I expected. Right after the surgery, the swelling was of course severe, and especially for the first 3 days my face was very swollen, so looking in the mirror was a bit rough, but the doctor had told me that in advance.
