Day 3 was the most swollen of all time... I was like one giant pufferfish.
The bruising was not too bad, so after the splint came off, I only had a bit of yellow bruising under my eyes, and I was worried about the loss of the bridge between my eyes, but I think the loss-of-bridge feeling will... get stronger as the days go by.
Rather, after the splint came off, because there had been silicone there, it looked a bit high, but swelling is so visible to the eye... as the swelling goes down, I think the sense of loss will come along with it... haha
At the hospital where I had surgery, after the splint came off I got an antibiotic injection, and three days later I go back to have the stitches in my nose removed!! It was a surgery where the existing cartilage at the tip of the nose was repositioned and new ear cartilage was harvested to build a support structure, so next week the ear stitches will be removed and from then on I can shower freely... haha I never even thought about the ear splint(?) before, but having to wear it for three months is so daunting
