Eye Surgery Considerations

Epic community review

I came back feeling gross after wasting my time going there for a consultation. I will absolutely never go there again. If I hear that someone around me is going there, I will definitely talk them out of it. The consultation lasted a little under 30 minutes, and Dr. HJm was fine, but the manager was seriously rude. I've been to 15 hospitals now, and I've never met someone like this before. There was basically no manager consultation at all. Just 1. What are your concerns? 2. So I just need to relay this? That was it. After the doctor consultation ended, they just told me the price and pushed me out without even giving a business card or any surgery information. I guess they treat people like that when they think the person won't get surgery. I told them I can make my schedule fit the hospital completely, so please tell me the open dates and times, and they didn't understand what I said, then raised their voice at me as if I were the one being frustrating? The doctor consultation wasn't bad, but because I'd already gone to several other consultations before that and knew a certain amount about my nose, he just said, 'Well, since you already know pretty well, I don't have much more to tell you,' and left because it was time for surgery. It felt rushed and a bit passive. I didn't go because I still didn't understand my nose; I went because each surgeon has a different surgical plan, so I wanted to ask what this place would do. Still, they do answer questions sincerely. But that's not the real problem. The manager is truly legendary. Even if I really liked the doctor and had surgery, just thinking about being cared for by that kind of manager makes it guaranteed mental stress, so I'm just ruling this place out. The hospital atmosphere is messy too. The desk staff are kind, though.
