I had lower and upper eyelid fat repositioning as a middle-aged patient. The lower eyelid was satisfactory, but the upper eyelid was ruined. My mother made up her mind and had surgery, but it turned into a complete sausage eye, and the upper lashes were pulled up so much that the area between the eyelashes is all visible...;; I do not know how it would be for younger patients, but for middle-aged surgery, you really need to be careful and go to a veteran specialist. Even after 1 year and 6 months the swelling has not gone down, so it just became sausage eyes and I am looking into revision surgery. The lower eyelid was satisfactory at the time, but I guess because fat was added, some of it seems to have gone away and wrinkles have formed.
