Eye Surgery Reviews

Chai community review

I have always had weak eye-opening strength, so whenever I took photos I was told I looked sleepy all the time, and that stressed me out even more than the double eyelid itself. So I went in for a consultation first, and the director said at a glance that my eye-opening muscles were weak haha. The director was extremely kind and gentle! I felt like I had not just imagined it by myself. During the consultation, I heard an explanation of the difference between buried and incisional methods, and also the reason eye correction was necessary, in detail. It did not feel like they were pushing surgery no matter what; they explained things based on my eye structure, so I trusted them. In the end I decided on incisional eye correction, and honestly I was super nervous on the day of surgery lol. Right after surgery, the swelling was more severe than I expected, so I worried for no reason, but after about a week the major swelling started to go down, and after about a month my eyes definitely looked clearer. The most surprising thing was that the way my eyes opened felt different, more than the double eyelid line itself. Before, I would unconsciously use my forehead muscles to open my eyes, but now it feels much easier to open them. People around me said more often that my impression had become clearer rather than asking where I had done surgery, so I was very satisfied. The recovery period was longer than I expected, but it was a surgery I would still choose again if I went back lol
