Nose Surgery Reviews

Rhinoplasty review from a community

It feels like it's already been over 2 years since the surgery, but because it turned out so natural, if I don't say anything, no one knows I had surgery lol. I had a slightly boxy, low, small nose, and because my goal was to make it look natural, I went around to 4 or 5 places and near the end spoke with the doctor, and I got the feeling this was it. First of all, the before-and-after photos were the look I wanted. Because my nose was unattractive(?) it was a photo of turning a slightly odd-looking person into a well-balanced, normal-looking person lol, and that made me decide. The doctor seemed to operate conservatively, and their aesthetic seemed to be harmony. At other hospitals I heard that autologous costal cartilage was needed to raise it more, and that alar reduction would be good too, but the doctor said because my face is round and my cheekbones are a bit prominent, alar reduction was optional and probably not necessary, so I didn't do it. In the end I'm satisfied. If I had done alar reduction, it would have looked like I'd had surgery. The nose shape turned out the way I wanted, but as time passed I did think, maybe I should have raised it just a little more lol, but I'm satisfied when I take photos or look in the mirror, so I don't think I'll get revision surgery. If you want something natural and harmonized, it might be worth going for a consultation.
