Even when I had my first surgery, I followed a friend and did not properly research the hospital, and I cannot count how many times I regretted that. At the consultation, I could not even say things like, "Please do it this way," and the surgeon designed my eyes only a few minutes before the surgery. Nothing about it was really done properly, and in the end the line was made way too thick in an in-out shape. I was a freshman and had to keep going to school, but it felt like everyone was staring only at my eyes, so I could not properly enjoy school life. I searched through the community, carefully compared patient and hospital review photos, and found that the two-line technique at Sight was the most natural, so I got a consultation and had the surgery. The surgeon did not push surgery from the start and seemed to look at it with the goal of improving things as much as possible to fit the surgery I wanted. My line was already too high, so there was not much skin to work with, so I chose the two-line technique. The area above my eyes was sunken, so they recommended orbital fat grafting. I was told that if the line were lowered, the hollow area could make the eyes look sleepy. I did not want to fail a second time, so I decided to follow the surgeon’s advice. It has been about 5 months since the surgery now, and honestly the lower line is much better.
