I had my first LASEK surgery 6 years ago. It was a factory-style place, with all the patients lining up and going in one after another. We went in in order, got zapped with the laser, and came out, and it felt like I had become a factory part. For a few days my vision was blurry, and my eyes hurt like they had been stabbed with nail clippers, but the moment a few days passed, it felt like a whole new world.. lol My eyesight has barely worsened since then, and it has been about 6 years now. But the problem is that my dry eye syndrome is so severe I already had some dryness before, but it got worse, so I cannot get up in the morning without artificial tears.
