I had LASIK at a well-known eye clinic. Because I had severe astigmatism, even with high-index lenses my glasses were really thick, but after LASIK I felt liberated. It was great back then, but now my vision has gotten much worse. Presbyopia has set in. Still, I do not wear glasses and daily life is not inconvenient. The side effect is severe glare, so when I go out at night it is blinding. And my eyes have become really dry.
