I had LASEK in Gangnam 10 years ago for under 1 million won, including serum. My vision at the time of surgery was 0.4, and now when I get my vision checked both eyes have stayed above 1.2. I guess the director who did it for me had really good skill.
For about two days after the surgery, my eyes were extremely dry and painful, to the point that tears kept coming out even if I just sat there. I usually do not swell much, but my whole face swelled more than when I had double eyelid surgery, and the swelling made it hard to open my eyes. I am the type who can tolerate pain fairly well, but LASEK was enough to make me never want to do it again... TT
Still, I am so glad I do not need to wear contact lenses, and I also do not have much of the dry-eye issue that other people talk about, so I recommend it. These days technology has advanced, so I think it would not hurt as much for someone like me!
