I had the procedure in Busan. My corneas were not especially thin, but I had severe myopia and astigmatism, and even the amount of astigmatism correction alone left me with too little corneal tissue, so lens implantation was the only option. My vision was around -11 and -9, and I was told that lens implantation alone might not fully fix the astigmatism, so if it felt uncomfortable I could add LASIK later. But it was not really uncomfortable, and there was no problem living my life, so I am satisfied. Both eyes have maintained 1.0 vision and there have been no side effects. If I had to pick one, in the early period after surgery I would sometimes see multiple rainbow rings at the edge of my eyes when looking at bright lights, but now either I have adapted or it has disappeared, because I do not notice it at all. No worse dry eye or any discomfort, and I am so happy. It feels like I was born with this vision lol
