It has been about 4 years since I had LASIK. I remember it being a famous, large hospital, and I do not remember exactly, but I remember the price was quite high. It was the kind of amount that made me shocked when I heard it... There was not only the surgery fee, but also a separate pre-op exam fee to check whether I could have the surgery. I think that cost was about 100,000 won. The surgery itself ended quickly and did not hurt at all. Right after it ended, when the anesthesia wore off, my eyes teared up and felt a bit stinging for a moment, but there was no painful feeling. Because it was SMILE LASIK, I reached 1.0 vision in about 2 to 4 days, and I still have no problems. I do think I developed some dry eye, but it is not bothersome to me, so if I went back, I would probably do it here again.
