I was scared at first, but because it was a factory-style place with several people going in, putting in eye drops and waiting, my fear suddenly disappeared completely. And after it was done, it didn’t hurt at all, and after they put in anesthetic eye drops and I opened my eyes, I just felt a brief sensation of someone touching my eyes, and then after about 10 minutes for both eyes they said the surgery was over. My older sister cried for 2 to 3 hours after SMILE LASIK and shouted that it felt like her eyes were being pulled out, but for me there was only a little tearing and a brief stinging feeling, and by night it was fine. But the downside is that I developed astigmatism, and my eyes are now extremely dry, with light halos at night The worst is when flying, because my eyes turn into a desert. And especially when driving at night, streetlights look like they’re spreading out? Still, life without glasses is paradise.
