First of all, recently I got really stressed every time I looked in the mirror because of my yellow teeth. Even in photos, I always had to edit the smile so the teeth looked white ^^.. Everyone’s like that, right? At first I even bought a popular whitening product from Olive Young and tried it at home, but the tray was so uncomfortable and my mouth just filled with saliva, so I couldn’t keep it up for long. Seriously, it was so uncomfortable while wearing it T_T Not recommended. I thought, 'Might as well spend a bit more and do it properly,' so I looked into various options, and then dental whitening turned out to be much more expensive. There were many places charging several hundred thousand won per session, and hearing that I’d have to keep doing it regularly made it feel a bit like a one-time thing, so it was awkward T_T I seriously considered laminate veneers too, but since they shave down the teeth, the side effects seemed severe and scary. I didn’t really have complexes about the shape of my teeth, but the risk seemed way too big.. It’s not like I’m trying to become a celebrity, after all. So what I chose was self-whitening, but done together with a dental clinic!! (Osstem Beauty's Home 15) First, visit the connected dental clinic -> take impressions of my teeth and make a tray -> receive it a week later -> squeeze in whitening gel at home and wear it. At first I was really unsure because wearing the tray had been so uncomfortable, but there were a lot of good reviews, so I gave it a try. But ah..... it was seriously, seriously a whole new world T_T Because it’s a tray made exactly for me, it was so comfortable. Four hours a day might seem long, but if you just wear it while watching Netflix, doing housework, and showering, time passes quickly. I used it for 7 days like that, and if you look at the before-and-after photos, you can see the difference even in the pictures, but the effect I feel myself is even bigger. The yellow tint was clearly cleaned up, and I can definitely feel that my teeth got a lot whiter, so every time I look in the mirror I go, eeh To roughly sum up the pros and cons: Pros: comfortable to wear and not noticeable, so you can even go out while wearing it / if you have sensitivity or any side effects, you can contact the dental clinic right away, which feels reassuring / compared with regular dental whitening, the price is definitely less of a burden. Cons: you can’t eat while wearing it (I usually wore it in the evening, and because of that I ended up on a forced diet) / you have to keep the timing exactly. The program is for 10 days, but I only used it for 7 days and still saw results. Don’t use Olive Young products; just spend a little more and do this instead.. Seriously, if you just pay a little attention at home, you can maintain the effect like dental whitening. This isn’t an ad; I’m leaving this info because I got a lot of help from everyone here.
