Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

3 weeks after orthognathic surgery. It is getting easier little by little.

Since I was little, my teeth have not been aligned well, so I had difficulty eating noodle dishes, and every time I took photos there was something that bothered me. While I was getting consultations to start orthodontic treatment, I was told that orthognathic surgery would be necessary, and I decided to have surgery in order to improve my complex at the same time this opportunity came up. I looked into hospitals by referring to recommendations from internet communities and YouTube reviews, and since there were many positive reviews overall, I went in for a consultation. When I visited in person, the hospital was clean and transportation was convenient, so accessibility was good, and the consultation process was also satisfying, which built trust. In particular, the fact that a refund was possible until the wafer was made was also a major help in my decision. As I enter week 3, my recovery is progressing in a generally stable way. After the hospital checkup, I started doing light fixation again using elastics, and at mealtimes I remove the wafer and elastics and combine eating with simple stretching. At first it felt a little unfamiliar, but as I gradually got used to it, I am in a state where I can manage it myself without difficulty. Compared with the early stage, the pain has decreased to the point where I barely notice it, and I can get through daily life without major inconvenience. I am eating porridge and Newcare, adjusting the kinds of porridge to the situation, and I can eat in a variety of ways, such as tuna with white porridge or adding egg, so I am more satisfied. Going out and being active is no problem at all, and my stamina has recovered a lot. The swelling is only noticeable a little in the morning and is going down naturally with time, and my neck and inside of the mouth feel almost recovered. Overall, the facial line is also gradually becoming more defined. The bruising has mostly disappeared and is now close to a natural state, and since recovery is going smoothly, I feel satisfied. As time passes, my body is becoming more comfortable, so I think this is a time when I can look forward to future changes.
