Correction for protruding mouth

I started orthodontic treatment for protruding mouth when I was in 11th grade, and it took 4 years. They extracted 4 teeth and proceeded, but my gums were originally very thick and strong, so the extractions were so hard they had to grind with a drill and I went through a lot. Now that the orthodontic treatment is over, my teeth are often sensitive to cold, and my gums have become thin and short Of course, the treatment made my face shape slimmer and my lip line softer, but because I don’t wear my retainer often, my protruding mouth is starting to come back. Please, wear it often..!!! I want to get orthodontic treatment again, but I’m worried my gums will get even thinner. And I don’t know whether it’s because of the braces, baby fat disappearing, or just getting older, but as the plumpness in my face has gone away, the nasolabial folds have gotten deeper.. I guess I should try other treatments as well!!
