I think my face needs double-jaw surgery (long lower face, long midface, jaw asymmetry, and misaligned midline), so I first tried orthodontic treatment. I'm in my mid-30s now, so I do feel a bit late, but during this Lunar New Year I saw a relative who had double-jaw surgery followed by orthodontic treatment, and their jaw got smaller and the asymmetry disappeared, so I honestly regretted it a little I have only paid half so far and I have not yet had the lower arch appliance attached. I chose non-extraction, but it is still so uncomfortable (when eating). Could I maybe have only part of the lower arch attached? The most important thing is whether orthodontic treatment alone can correct the asymmetry and midline. I am worried so much that I wrote this in a jumble Can the midline and asymmetry be corrected…?
