Hello!!! I had double-jaw surgery and contouring together with Director Shin Hee-jin at I-U Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! The swelling that bothered me in the beginning has now, after 11 months, naturally gone down over time, and even the slightly swollen feeling in the morning is now almost nothing to worry about Recovery really feels like something time handles...! Orthodontic treatment is now in the final stage too, so daily life is not affected at all, and every time I take photos I can see that my facial shape has become more refined, so I am very satisfied My face also looks smaller than before and the overall proportions feel better, so even looking in the mirror is more fun, and people around me often say it turned out naturally well, which makes me even happier! The best thing is that I am living without covering my jaw like before or being stressed out! Now I am looking forward to feeling even more comfortable once the orthodontic treatment ends 💛 I had been stressed about my malocclusion and underbite since I was young, and even though I had orthodontic treatment in high school, the skeletal part did not change much, so it kept bothering me Especially when taking photos, I kept covering my jaw, and I worried about my side profile too... I thought maybe I should just live with it, but in the end I wanted to solve it fundamentally, so I started looking into surgery!! At first I thought something like chin surgery alone would solve it, but after going to consultations, I heard many times that with my malocclusion status, double-jaw surgery was the right option, so I naturally ended up consulting about double-jaw surgery as well! Honestly, I was scared, but I think the desire to settle it all at once was stronger than the thought of continuing to stress over it like this. Looking back now, it would be a lie to say the early recovery process was not hard at all but as time passed, I kept feeling myself becoming more natural and daily life becoming easier, and that made me think even more that I was really glad I did it.
