Hello, I had double jaw surgery with Dr. Shin Hee-jin at [Clinic A]. My bite was originally off, so I kept having to eat on only one side, which was uncomfortable, and as my lower jaw kept looking more and more prominent, I became concerned and decided to have surgery. I looked through a lot of review posts and saw many people saying it turned out naturally and well, so I chose [Clinic A]. It has now been 5 months since the surgery, and first of all, daily life has mostly returned to how it was before surgery, so there’s not much discomfort. The early inconveniences have passed, and that feels good lol. Also, people around me keep saying my face looks smaller or that I look more pleasant and more handsome, which secretly makes me feel good. I thought double jaw surgery would be a huge burden, but after going through it, I can really feel that it’s much more comfortable functionally too, and having a proper bite makes a huge difference in quality of life. Before surgery, I only thought of it as a major surgery, a scary surgery, a dangerous surgery, but after actually doing it, I can feel that if you do it at a good hospital, it isn’t dangerous and it’s the kind of surgery that changes your life. For anyone still considering it, I wouldn’t say it’s an unconditional recommendation, but for someone like me who was stressed by malocclusion or a protruding jaw, it’s definitely a surgery with very high satisfaction.
