Hello, it has already been 11 months since I had double jaw surgery and contouring procedures 2 types (square jaw, chin) at Y Oral Surgery on June 25 last year, haha. I've spent a lot of money and time on treatment all this time, and sometimes I think about what it would have been like if I hadn't had the surgery, but when I compare life before and after surgery, it really doesn't feel wasted at all, and in fact I feel convinced that I'm glad I did it even one day earlier. In everyday life, there are so many times to take photos and meet people, and before, unless I was close with them, I was always self-conscious and extremely stressed, but now that all those anxiety factors are gone, life itself feels much more comfortable. Especially when old friends I've known for a long time suddenly compliment my appearance. Recently it has been about 4 weeks since I had the pin removal surgery, and honestly I thought, 'I already had double jaw surgery, so pin removal must be no big deal,' and I underestimated it, but I really got a rude awakening lol. I can't compare it directly to double jaw surgery, but because they cut inside the mouth and stitched it again, the swelling and pain were quite significant, and eating was pretty uncomfortable, so it reminded me of the double jaw surgery period. Still, after 2 weeks and once the stitches were removed, it felt like I had almost fully recovered. As someone who likes exercise, before pin removal I always had a corner of my mind worrying that moving too much might strain my face, but now that everything seems finished, my mind feels so light and comfortable! For people considering double jaw surgery, cost is one thing, but since it is such a big operation there will be a lot of worry. In my case, though, it ended safely to the point that those worries feel meaningless, and my satisfaction is so high that I really want to recommend it by saying that worrying only delays surgery.
