Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

1 month after cheekbone surgery at Euyugugang :) Side line change worth the wait!

Hello :) About 2 years ago, I had double jaw surgery at Euyugugang, and I am still very satisfied with the result. At the time, I felt reassured that an oral and maxillofacial surgery specialist and an anesthesiology specialist were on site, and that the safety system was well established. Above all, I had such a satisfying experience with the surgery result that I naturally decided to have this cheekbone surgery done by Director Shin Hee-jin at Euyugugang as well. To be honest, when I had double jaw surgery, I also thought about whether to do the cheekbone surgery at the same time, but back then I chose not to. Then, as time passed, my cheekbones gradually became more noticeable and started to bother me T_T So I decided on this surgery because I wanted a smoother, softer facial line overall. Right after surgery, my face felt heavy and numb, like it had been crushed. On the first day, after receiving pain medication, I felt a bit better, and I safely spent the first night at the hospital. On days 2 to 4, the swelling really increased a lot, and especially the area under my eyes and around the philtrum swelled a lot, which startled me T_T Still, as time passed, the pain gradually lessened, and I focused on recovery while doing cold compresses diligently. From around day 5, I could start to see the swelling slowly going down. The bruising also changed from red to yellow, and the pooled blood in my eyes seemed to be gradually decreasing, so I felt relieved. In particular, when I looked from a 45-degree angle, it was clearly visible that my cheekbones had gone in, which made me very satisfied! By week 2, the swelling under the chin had gone down a lot, so with makeup it just looked like I had gained a little weight, and the pooled blood in my eyes had become mild enough to cover with lenses. By week 3, the overall cheek swelling had gone down a lot, but the swelling under my left eye was a bit slow to subside, which worried me. And now at 1 month! The swelling under my left eye still seems to go down and then come up a little, but I am just viewing it as part of the recovery process and watching it calmly :) Above all, I really love the side line! My facial contour feels much softer and smoother than before, so I am very satisfied. Thinking about how much more swelling will go down in the future makes me even more excited haha
