A nose with visible silicone and revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage

After my first surgery at another hospital when I was 20, over time the silicone becoming visible started to bother me more and more. Especially under bright lighting or in side photos, the bridge line felt like it was showing through, which was stressful, and my nose skin looking thin and tight was also a concern. So for this revision surgery, I focused most on naturalness and improving the visibility issue rather than height. Actually, I had been having revision consultations little by little at other hospitals over the years, but because I was disappointed by the first hospital, I had lost all trust in plastic surgery. Oh, and I was also satisfied that there was no extra fee except for the custom implant. Right after surgery, I was worried a lot because of the swelling, but as time passed it gradually settled into a natural look. More than anything, the skin tension is lower than before, and the nose feels much more naturally blended into my face, so I’m very satisfied. People around me also say that rather than only the nose changing, my whole impression looks softer and more refined. Since it was revision surgery, recovery was not easy, but now even in bright places or when taking photos, I no longer keep thinking about my nose like before, and that is what I’m happiest about.
