Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Why I get why Euyugwang is the key for double-jaw and contour surgery now - an honest review that I liked even more after 1 year!

This is my 1-year follow-up after double-jaw and contour surgery with Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at Euyugwang! Time really flies! As a full year has passed, my feelings about the changes after surgery and the physical results have now settled to some extent. So I am writing this not as a post for others to look at, but as an honest record for myself and a progress log. I received double-jaw surgery from Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at Euyugwang Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and I am writing this from my own out-of-pocket real experience. Since I was little, my malocclusion made it hard to eat with my front teeth, and I kept needing to use force in my jaw just to eat, so functional stress built up. As time went on, my confidence in my appearance also kept dropping. Whenever I took photos or someone looked at my face from the side, I became overly aware of my jaw, and eventually I decided to have surgery because I wondered if it was right to keep living like that. Right after surgery, honestly, it was really hard haha, and the recovery process was not easy either lol. Still, after 1 to 2 months, the swelling was clearly going down. By around 3 months, the discomfort in daily life was almost gone. The orthodontic process had uncomfortable days too, but I had already had braces before, so I could manage it. And as my bite gradually came together, the change that food became natural to eat was the key part haha! From months 4 to 6, people around me started saying my impression had improved so much that they did not know I had surgery, and I felt like my face had settled in naturally rather than looking artificial. And now, a year later, I have no discomfort or side effects from the surgery at all. Looking at old photos, the change is so clear that I feel like a different person. More than anything, the biggest change is that I can live without constantly being aware of my lower face, which has given me psychological ease. My post is not meant to imply that I unconditionally recommend surgery; it is more like a record I wanted to keep after living one year after surgery. I also leave it in the hope that it can serve as a reference log for people who, like me, have long worried about malocclusion or their lower face. I really hope it helps! Thank you so much for creating such a pretty face shape with no side effects, Euyugwang and Dr. Kim Jong-yoon!! You are like my second father lol!!!
