Because of ptosis that I had since I was little, my forehead wrinkles were getting deeper and deeper. I am a student busy with studying, so I felt like I would have no real time unless it was this winter break, so after much thought I got consultations at three hospitals. While I was hesitating because another hospital recommended an incision and I was worried about the school semester starting, Director Ichian at 'Leo' said, taking my schedule and personality into account, that he would do his best with a partial incision that has a fast recovery. That warm consideration made me trust him enough that I decided first. Contrary to my worries, I was not in much pain even on the day of surgery, and from immediately after the surgery I could see that I could open my eyes wide without forehead wrinkles, so I was convinced I had made the right choice. At the 7-day stitch removal, there was still some swelling and bruising, but today, exactly 3 weeks later, the bruising and swelling are already gone, so the line looks really natural. (Actually, during Lunar New Year when I was 2 weeks post-op, even my relatives had no idea I had surgery and only praised me for looking refreshed lol) What I am happiest about after surgery is that it is so much easier for me to open my eyes. Since I no longer have to use my forehead muscles, my field of vision feels much clearer, and I definitely feel less tired when studying ^^ Meeting a director who understands my feelings so well seems like the best harvest of this winter break~ I hope my review can be of even a little help to anyone who is considering surgery!
