Review After Using Donor Dermis Because the Nose Tip Skin Became Thin

Three years ago I had maximum augmentation of the nasal tip with costal cartilage, and because it felt uncomfortable and unnatural, I had another surgery at a different hospital 1 year and 6 months later to use silicone and shorten the length of the costal cartilage in the nasal tip. I was scared by a doctor’s comment that if you raise the nose and then lower it, it can become a steamed-bun-like nose, but rather than living uncomfortably for my whole life, I decided to be bold and have revision surgery. In the early stage after the revision, I liked the shape and the tip even had a slight upturn, so I was satisfied. But after about 6 months, the tip started to drop, and a reverse effect appeared where the bridge looked more prominent. My personality is sensitive, so I started feeling really depressed, and I couldn’t focus on work well. Then, to make matters worse, over time the skin at the nasal tip also became thinner and the tip started to show through.. so I received a touch-up procedure at the hospital in which they only inserted donor dermis into the nasal tip. It’s now almost 5 months later.. But because they inserted only that thin donor dermis, the dropped tip seems to have lifted a little too, and the line from the bridge has become more natural than before, so I’m satisfied now.
