Hello. I visited a few places for my first eye surgery consultation and organized the information I have received so far.I am a first-time surgery patient, and because my outer eye corners are slightly upturned, I am considering incision double eyelid surgery + fat removal + front canthoplasty, and if needed, lower canthoplasty / outer-lower canthoplasty as well.I want a natural and clean line rather than something too dramatic, and I am worried about scars, asymmetry, and side effects from excessive canthoplasty. 1. [Clinic A] - [Doctor A]The information I received after the consultation was as follows.Incision + upper-front canthoplasty + fat removal: 2.8 million wonSwelling care + scar-tissue injection provided1 year of aftercareDiscount applied for partially disclosed reviewDeposit: 100,000 wonSedation + local anesthesia on surgery dayFasting required for 4 hours on the day of surgeryDuring the consultation, because my outer eye corners are slightly upturned, I asked whether lower canthoplasty was necessary, and the director said it was optional. If lower canthoplasty were added, I was told it would cost an additional 700,000 won.The coordinator seemed to want the deposit a little quickly, so I left after paying the 100,000 won deposit. It was a weekday visit, so the waiting time was not long. However, the director's consultation personally felt a little cold and blunt, and after looking up recent reviews, I saw quite a few worrying comments, so I am wondering whether to proceed with surgery here. 2. [Clinic B] - [Doctor B]The amount explained after the consultation was as follows.Incision double eyelid surgery for a first-time case: 1.65 million wonFat removal: 330,000 wonSkin removal: 330,000 wonFront canthoplasty: 539,000 won -> 330,000 wonNon-incisional lower outer canthoplasty: 858,000 won -> 638,000 wonSedation anesthesia: 110,000 wonThe above amount was the event price under the condition of partial eye-photo disclosure + 4 review posts, and VAT was included. They also basically recommended incision + fat removal + front canthoplasty. The difference was that they recommended outer-lower canthoplasty as non-incisional rather than incisional, and explained that it could be supplemented later if it loosened or came down.Waiting time was average, and the coordinators felt a little cold overall.Especially when I did not pay the deposit right away, I felt that the atmosphere changed a bit.Still, the price was relatively less burdensome compared with the three places. 3. [Clinic C] - [Doctor C]The amount explained after the consultation was as follows.Front canthoplasty: 880,000 wonIncision double eyelid surgery: 1.65 million wonUpper eyelid fat removal: 550,000 wonOuter canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty: 1.76 million wonTotal: 4.84 million wonIf a 500,000 won deposit is paid on the same day, the price becomes 4.4 million wonOne session of swelling IV providedPartially disclosed photos + review post requiredThe deposit is non-refundable, and if surgery is canceled it can be replaced with a skin procedure. It was the most expensive of the three. The coordinator said that the outer-lower canthoplasty was a specialized procedure of the director.Waiting time was not long.My concern, however, is that other hospitals said there was not enough space in the outer corner of my eye, but here I was recommended outer canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty.Because opinions differed by hospital, I am worried about whether my eyes are suitable for outer canthoplasty / lower canthoplasty at all, and whether doing too much could cause side effects. The deposit was also 500,000 won and non-refundable, so it was hard to decide right away.I have not made a final decision yet, and this is a summary of the consultations I have had so far. Also, from what I checked, none of the three places seem to have an anesthesiology specialist on site, which worries me a little. Some places include sedation anesthesia or offer it as an option, so before making my final decision I plan to consult a few more hospitals where anesthesiology specialists are on site. Are there any people here who have had first-time incision double eyelid surgery at the hospitals above? In particular, I would like to hear about incision scars, line asymmetry, front canthoplasty scars, side effects from lower / outer canthoplasty, aftercare, consultation style, and anesthesia-related experiences. If you have real experience rather than ads or sponsored reviews, I would really appreciate your advice. If it is difficult to leave a public comment, I would also be very grateful if you could send me a direct message.

The clinic said that my eyes have a deep epicanthic fold and a wide distance between the eyes, so if I only did double eyelid surgery, my eyes might actually look more stuffy, and they strongly recommended an inner canthoplasty. They said…

I should have done it sooner.. I saw a post saying the chief surgeon had great aesthetic sense about 2 years ago; maybe on Twitter or somewhere, so I went for a consultation. It may be that his aesthetic sense matched mine too, but... as…
