Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review of contouring and nose consultation at [Clinic A]

Consultation review at [Clinic A] (personal notes) For contouring, they said my skull shape is the issue, so no zygoma reduction, and that my face would look even longer. They said the distance from the corners of my mouth to the tip of my chin is quite long, and on the CT the nerve line is high, so they can shave quite a lot (they also said that shaving that area a lot is their personal preference). Rather than surgery for facial shape, they recommended surgery focused on reducing size, and then adjusting balance afterward with procedures. They said I tend to retain swelling for a long time, so I should expect up to a year. Because I have lean obesity, they also told me to manage my weight with exercise and diet For the square jaw and jawline, they recommended resection without pins; for the double chin, they recommended chin-line liposuction. For the nose, [Clinic B] said my septal cartilage is too small, basically only a cute little size, so it cannot be used. Because autologous costal cartilage surgery raises the bony framework itself and raises the nose, there is no need to worry about a barcode-like nose shape. Since the columella is curled up, they said they would lower it during surgery. It should also be possible to improve the protruding mouth profile that sticks out relatively. They said the nasal bridge starting point should be set high, based on the eyelashes, to match the midface. They also explained things by referring to the jaw surgery consultation notes. They recommended paranasal augmentation. I am considering the paranasal area. I put down a deposit for the jaw and nose (they say the price is fixed, but they did push pretty hard on the anesthesia fee deposit). I plan to request a change of the consultation manager because I do not like the one I met. Overall, I liked that I could trust the doctor. For now, I am thinking about whether I should go for a contouring consultation soon, haha.
