Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

9-month facial contouring review at DA Plastic Surgery

It's already been 9 months since my facial contouring triple procedure. Time really flies. The swelling is almost completely gone now, and my facial line has fully settled, so I'm leaving an honest review. Before surgery, my cheekbones, square jaw, and chin line all looked broad overall, so every time I took a photo I had to worry about angles, hide my face with my hair, or edit it. Even the front view was stressful, but the side profile was especially my concern, so I made up my mind and chose the triple contouring procedure. Right after surgery, as expected, there was quite a bit of swelling, and it was hard to open my mouth and uncomfortable to eat. I briefly wondered, 'Did I do this for nothing?' but as time passed and I could see the swelling going down day by day, I realized that waiting was the right answer. Around 3 months in, the major swelling was almost gone, and from around 6 months, people around me often said my face had gotten much smaller. But for me, 9 months is much more satisfying than 6 months. Once the residual swelling settled almost completely, my facial line became truly natural, and without any artificial look, I got a soft V-line that feels like my original face. The part I'm most satisfied with is that even from the front, my facial width has clearly improved. Before, my face looked wide and flat, but now it looks much slimmer and more three-dimensional. The side profile also looks clean along the jawline, so I gained a lot of confidence when taking photos. Before, editing my face shape was essential, but now even photos taken with the default camera are satisfying, so I barely edit them. People around me also ask a lot whether I lost weight, and I often hear that my overall impression has become softer. Before, I used to hear that I looked strong or sharp, but now I often hear that my expression looks much gentler, and I'm really happy about that too. The sensation I was worried about mostly came back over time, and there are almost no inconveniences in daily life. At first, the recovery period felt long, but looking back now, I think enduring that time gave me the result I have today. If you're considering this surgery, I hope you don't judge the result too hastily. I really felt that facial contouring is not a surgery that finishes overnight, but one that becomes prettier over time. I worried a lot because of the early swelling, but now that it's been 9 months, all I can think is that I was right to wait. Personally, this was a surgery with very high satisfaction, and even if I had to choose again, I would do the same. Just having a different face shape made taking photos enjoyable, let me try different hairstyles, and made me much more confident when meeting people. There may still be very subtle changes ahead, but I'm already more than satisfied with the current state, and I like it even more because the result looks natural. If you've been worrying about your face shape for a long time like I did, I think this is a surgery you can be very satisfied with. As of 9 months post-op, I have absolutely no regrets and I'm 100% satisfied. 😊
