Clinic initials are shared in private comments. What I care about most when visiting clinics: - The doctor, manager, and staff must be kind, no exceptions. - If they act busy, they are out immediately. - I prefer clinics that are not busy.
Clinic 1. The clinic where I had my first nose surgery. I did not really have problems like inflammation or asymmetry, so if I were to get revision surgery, I wanted to go to the first surgeon again. To change the image of my nose, I would need autologous costal cartilage, but the doctor here does not perform autologous costal cartilage surgery T_T
Clinic 2. I found this place through Instagram and booked a consultation because the doctor seemed kind. They took a CT and then moved straight into the consultation, which was good. I hate clinics where you just sit and wait. I prefer clinics without many people, so I liked the atmosphere. The consultation with the doctor was kind and very thorough. The manager seemed like a good person, but to introverts she might feel a bit intense. They also tried to adjust the price well. But they strongly push same-day booking (not review pressure x), and because they said osteotomy would be needed, I am wondering whether the aesthetic image might not match mine.
Clinic 3. This is a clinic I had already followed on Instagram, and from the reviews of people who had surgery there, their noses look round, sharp, and upright, which matches my aesthetic sense. The manager, staff, and doctor were all really not intimidating and very polished. The consultation here also moved straight ahead with no waiting. Clinics with waiting are an automatic pass for me. Anyway, they said osteotomy would not be necessary here, but I would need autologous costal cartilage and silicone. The doctor’s aesthetic sense matches mine well, so I want to do it here (they do have a review discount), but even after the discount the cost is still a bit burdensome. So I am still deciding. I need to visit more places...
