Hump Nose

The hump had been a lifelong worry of mine. Other than the hump, my nose was otherwise good. If I’m already paying so much money for this, should I go all out and make it pretty? Who knew that my careless thinking and hasty judgment would make me regret the person I am now, sob... Hump + ear cartilage + silicone nmm At the consultation at another hospital before surgery, they said silicone probably wouldn't need to be inserted, and that my skin was thin and it might not be possible. I also thought that if only the hump were fixed, it would be fine, so I let it go. But before the surgery started, I shouldn’t have just brushed off the doctor’s words that he would put silicone in if he could. After the surgery, when I was half-dazed, I heard, “Silicone was inserted.” (How skilled are they that they managed to put silicone into a nose most people said couldn’t take it?) The moment I heard that, my feet went cold.... My general health isn’t great to begin with, so I’m a body that can’t even get injections often, and I could only worry about everything. I’ve always been the indecisive, clumsy type.... That’s part of why I ended up here, and I’m desperately realizing that with a personality like this, I definitely shouldn’t have silicone in my nose. Tomorrow, when I meet the doctor and take off the splint to check everything, I’m planning to book a full removal. I’m still fairly young, so the cost is the biggest concern for me... I feel so sorry to my parents... sob I’m scared too, and the six sleepless days after surgery have left me with nothing but regret, wishing I could go back to five minutes before the operation. Still, what can I do? I need to fix what needs fixing, so I’m going to gather whatever strength I have and go for it! ——————————- I’ll add a few more things I didn’t know about rhinoplasty: 1. Bloody phlegm - It was really only a little, but something I’d never heard of or seen in any other review came out of my mouth, and I was so scared. Panic? I wondered if I was the only one, but apparently bloody phlegm can come out. Don’t be too scared. 2. Feeling cold - You know there’s a lot of bleeding during surgery, right..? My hands and feet got extremely cold. I think I wore outerwear for three days straight because I was so cold. Staying warm is the top priority! 3. Sleep & breathing - I think this is the ultimate pain point. Even on day 6, I’m still sleeping while sitting up... because it somehow feels scary sob - As for breathing, I had severe COVID before and once had to breathe only through my mouth because of phlegm for four days. Here’s a small tip: sleeping is when the dryness gets the worst, so if you don’t have a humidifier, soaking a towel with water and holding it in your mouth while sleeping helps the most... 4. Cotton - It’s 90% of the pain. It doesn’t hurt when it’s removed; it’s just that the smell of the disinfectant is so strong that I think I kept breathing through my mouth for about 30 minutes after. 5. Antibiotic shot - It hurt for me sob My only hurdle left now is to consult well and get the full removal as soon as possible!!
