I had abdominal liposuction and pelvic fat grafting together.
I naturally tend to carry fat around my abdomen, so even with exercise, my lower belly and love handles remained until the end. Especially from the front, I had almost no waistline and my pelvis looked relatively flat, so I disliked looking straight overall.
So I proceeded by removing fat from my abdomen and grafting it into the pelvic area. At first I was deliberating over doing only liposuction, but they said I could shape my lines at the same time with fat that would be removed anyway, so I decided to do both.
For several days after surgery, my abdomen felt tight and it was uncomfortable whenever I changed position. I was also surprised at first because bruises appeared in various places, but they gradually faded with time. Now my abdomen is much more tidied up than before, so my waistline is visible, and the pelvic area has gained a little volume.
Before, it felt like everything fell straight down from top to bottom, but now there is a slight line transitioning from the waist to the pelvis, so the difference is quite noticeable when I look from the side. It does not look excessively filled, so personally I think this amount is just right. It has not fully settled yet, so I need to wait a little longer, but so far I feel I made the right choice by doing them together. Also, the surgeon explained things well and checked me thoroughly when I went in for follow-up after surgery.
