My eyes did not lack double eyelids, and they were not particularly unattractive either. I only wanted to raise the double-eyelid line slightly and make my eyes a little more defined. Since it was not a major concern, I think I spent a long time deciding whether to have surgery at all. I finally decided to get consultations first and then choose. Before consulting at Bicom, I was leaning strongly toward not having surgery, but afterward I started thinking, “Should I try it?” Other clinics suggested doing this and that, and the costs were very high. I also felt uncomfortable worrying that I might no longer look like myself after surgery. Director Kim Jeong-hyu quickly understood exactly what kind of look I wanted and explained in great detail how to make my eyes more defined while preserving my original facial impression. Perhaps for that reason, the surgery was done precisely as he described, just enough to refine the details. The overall shape has not changed much, but my eyes look a little more defined. It is exactly the look I wanted, so I am very satisfied. I do not think it would have turned out this beautifully elsewhere. I might instead have regretted going too far. An eye specialist really is different in the details.
