I had revision eye surgery because I was not happy with the line created during my first double-eyelid surgery. My eyelid-opening strength was also somewhat weak, so it was uncomfortable to keep straining my eyes, and they looked stuffy in photos. While researching revision surgery, I liked Dress’s double-eyelid lines and went for a consultation, which was good overall. I explained what I disliked about the existing line and that opening my eyes was uncomfortable. After checking my eyes, they recommended natural-adhesion revision surgery and non-incisional ptosis correction. I said I wanted a natural line that was neither too high nor too dark, and they tried several lines to find what suited my eyes. They did not seem to push unnecessary procedures, nor did they seem careless. At first the line looked darker than expected because of swelling, so I was a little worried, but it became natural with time. Since I also had ptosis correction, opening my eyes is more comfortable than before and my eyes look clearer. The line is gradually becoming closer to what I wanted. Before, the ambiguous line bothered me whenever I did my eye makeup, but these days my eyes look neat even without makeup. I was very worried that I might dislike the result again because it was revision surgery, but I am satisfied that it is settling in naturally.
