My arms are swollen and bruising is starting to show, but I’m writing the review first lol [Photo] After the procedure - arm condition right after today’s treatment (swelling visible) My arms have truly been my biggest complex since my 20s. Even when I lost weight through dieting, my arms didn’t slim down... that kind of body type. So every summer I couldn’t even wear just a tank top. Even with a short-sleeved shirt, my arms looked bulgy out to the sides, which was stressful. But honestly, what held me back the most was my age. I’m in my late 40s... I kept searching for months thinking, “Can I even get fat extraction injections at this age?” “I don’t have the same elasticity as younger people, so if I lose fat, won’t it just sag even more?” lol But then I thought that if I kept using age as an excuse to delay a complex I’d had for over 20 years, I’d never be able to do it. The desire to have a pretty arm line is the same even when you get older... so in the end I went for it. From the consultation onward, I made it clear that I was worried about the front bulge, back bulge, and axillary breast tissue too. The two things I was most curious about were: 1) When the line starts to change -> They said it usually starts to show after about 2-3 weeks. 2) I’m in my late 40s, so won’t it sag without elasticity? -> They said they have many clients in this age group, and after removing the fat, they shape the line through follow-up care, which reassured me. It wasn’t just a one-time thing; the picture was that care would continue afterward too, which made me trust it more. I asked about bruising too because I bruise easily, and we decided to just wait about a month. Anyway, I’m someone who is really afraid of pain, so when I went in scared, the staff kept reassuring me and really eased my tension The director also told me that if I keep up with my diet, the fat will come off much better, and even took time to talk to me about diet too (I really liked that). Pain summary: 1. Anesthetic injections - tingling and stinging. But manageable. 2. While the solution was being injected - felt uncomfortable for about 2-3 minutes. Honestly, it wasn’t the hell I had imagined.. 3. While removing the solution - much more comfortable than when it was going in. Doing both arms took about 30-40 minutes. After the procedure, I also had laser? as aftercare, and after lying down for about 20 minutes, my body felt a bit more stable. But the problem was getting up afterward lol There was still some medication left in my body and the anesthesia hadn’t worn off, so I had no strength at all in my arms. Luckily the staff helped with everything one by one, which I was super grateful for. ★Absolutely do not drive★ I wasn’t dizzy, but I didn’t have enough strength to even open the taxi door, so I struggled.. Please go by taxi or public transportation.
To summarize, the anesthesia and solution injection were no big deal, and I actually tolerated the pain better than I expected. The most shocking part was how my arms lost all strength when getting up after it was over lol. Still, the atmosphere was comfortable, so the procedure itself wasn’t bad. On the way home, the anesthesia gradually wore off, I was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, so I ate a solid dinner and took the medicine. (They stressed very strongly that I needed to eat well on the day of the procedure.) Before the procedure, the director drew on my arm and said the results would probably be good, and that already made me excited hehe. Today I’m very swollen like in the photo.. They said the swelling can last for about another week. And since my skin is fairly sensitive, the bruising is already starting to creep in;; But they said the bruises will fade in 2-3 weeks, so by then they probably won’t show much even if I wear a short-sleeved shirt. The age concern can be resolved with the director during the consultation. They said they’ll clean up the line and also work on elasticity through aftercare, so I’m already looking forward to 2-3 weeks from now I’ll come back with another progress update once the swelling goes down a bit~~ That’s all for now
