(The weight difference before and after surgery is about 10 kg. Please understand that this is based on being about 10 to 15 kg lighter after surgery.) The CT image on the right is before the revision surgery, and the left is after the revision surgery. In early February 2025, I had surgery with the goals of moving the chin tip forward, reducing chin length, and improving chin asymmetry... and this is the 10-month mark.. Over the past 10 months, aside from the difference from losing about 10 to 15 kg, I really cannot feel any surgical change at all.. If you look at the CT images, there was originally a 4 mm chin advancement pin in place, and even after surgery there is still a 4 mm advancement pin in place. To my eyes, since I am not a doctor, the reduction in length and the amount of advancement seem far too minimal. Since it was a revision surgery, I also paid several hundred for the surgery and the recovery period is at least six months.. sigh.. everyone, please look into the hospital carefully before surgery .. I think I will need revision surgery ... Setting aside the doctor’s skill, I feel betrayed because the doctor’s explanation kept changing every time sigh..
