The post-op photos are still early, so please note that the upper fullness has not gone down yet. My chest was not as small as a total AA cup like people usually imagine!! So I did not think about surgery for a long time and just lived thinking, well, maybe this is fine as it is~ But as I lost weight, the upper part of my breasts gradually started to hollow out... lol. Especially when I looked in the mirror without a bra, it felt like my breasts were spreading downward? With a bra on, it was okay enough, but when I took it off, the upper breast looked empty, and that felt really bad and bothered me. In summer, I also hated how fitted tank tops made me look flat and lacking volume more than just looking small... lol. So when I went for the consultation, I was actually scared because I thought they would bring up a lift, but the director said it was not severely sagging, so implants alone would probably improve it enough. That is how I had the surgery, but honestly right after, I could not tell whether it had gone well or not because my breasts were still hard and swollen... lol. But after about 3 weeks to a month, the upper breast started to settle in, and once the upper fullness settled too, it started to look like I actually had volume? Before, even if I tightened my bra straps, it still looked somewhat deflated, but now even just wearing underwear makes the volume look alive lololol. Of course, it is not like a lift that pulls the breasts upward, but because the implants fill it out, it looks firmer than before, and the position also feels slightly higher. I also agonized a lot over inframammary fold incision vs axillary incision, but I chose the inframammary fold because I wanted to exercise again as soon as possible!! lol I heard the scar does not show much after some time, either.
