Eye Surgery Considerations

My side profile bothered me so much because the area under my chin was the only part that looked puffy

I was stressed every time I took photos because of my double chin, so I underwent double-chin liposuction and a muscle-binding procedure. After the surgery, at my second follow-up visit, the swelling had gone down a lot and I could clearly see the line becoming more defined, so my satisfaction increased even more. In particular, many people around me said my jawline became more distinct and my face looked much smaller. At the hospital follow-up too, I was told that the recovery was stable, and the stitches were removed well. I was glad that I was recovering naturally in daily life without any discomfort. The sensation in my chin still feels a bit like the anesthesia hasn’t fully worn off. It takes about two months before it starts to come back little by little, and there is still a slight anesthetic feeling. When I lift my head, because the muscle was bound, you can also see detailed muscle strands. The scar is about 1 cm, and it shows up redder than I expected. So when I put on makeup I pay a bit more attention, or I apply scar ointment. Taking that into account, I’d say the double chin is gone and I look slimmer, so looking in the mirror has become less scary. If I could choose surgery again, I would do it again.
